Barbie met Jess in the summer of 2022, and instantly felt a connection, but it took a few weeks for them to work up the courage to ask for Jess' cell phone number.

In the meantime, Jess thought Barbie was gorgeous, but didn't know how to tell them.

Barbie solved their dilemma by asking Jess' then-wife for her number.

The following Thursday, they went on their first date to a local museum's art exhibition. They were fast friends and knew their love was special.

Jess moved in with Barbie and their family in March of 2023.

I'd like to say it's been smooth sailing since then, but Barbie and Jess have had to work through a cross-country move, a divorce, and polyamorous dynamics which sometimes worked against them.

Now, we celebrate their renewed commitment to each other, as they have chosen to have a hand fasting and tie the knot as a symbol of their love.
